PROGRAM INFORMATION
Overview
The purpose of the Respiratory Toolkit Program is to increase the capacity of primary care clinicians to provide evidence-based care to patients with asthma and COPD. Solid evidence from previous research shows that bringing asthma and COPD management practices in line with current evidence-based guidelines results in improved symptom control and decreases in hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and impaired school and work performance.
